The Church Electoral Roll

The Electoral Roll is a list of all the 'members' of Warfield Church.  When you are a member you are able to attend and vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting and really play your part as an active contributor.

The Electoral Roll is fully revised every six years, starting from a blank sheet of paper.  In the intervening years, you can apply to join at any time.  In order to join you must fill in an application form on which you declare (expressed briefly here):

  • You are baptised and aged 16 or over;
  • You are a member of:
    • the Church of England and are resident in the parish;
      OR
    • the Church of England and, not being resident in the parish, you have habitually attended public worship in the parish during the previous six months;
      OR
    • a church not in communion with the Church of England which subscribes to the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and you have habitually attended public worship in the parish during the previous six months.
In all of this, the word 'parish' means ecclesiastical parish.  If you have any questions about membership of the Electoral Roll please approach the Vicar, Rev'd Catharine Mabuza, or one of the Associate Ministers and Congregational Leaders, Rev'd David Brown, Rev'd Michelle Porter-Babbage, and Mr David Ritchie.  You could also email electoralroll@warfield.org.uk.

If you want to joint the Electoral Roll, and we hope you do, you can get to the application form here.
