Help In Prayer

We are living through one of the strangest times that any of us have ever experienced! Events have been unfolding very rapidly, with huge impact for all of us. There have been a number of things from scripture which have encouraged us in the last few days. Here’s just one of them:
God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
Though the waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
….Be still and know that I am God…
(Psalm 46)

And so we continue. God is still good. The light of Christ will never be extinguished. God has been and is still building his church, and it will not be vanquished. I will write again with further thoughts about how we continue to be church – in different and imaginative ways – through these difficult times.
